There are moments when something isn’t quite aligning— even if everything looks like it should.
For many people I work with—especially those in roles where they’re holding multiple responsibilities and stewarding diverse expectations, those leading within complexity. They aren’t struggling in obvious ways.
They’re capable. Trusted. Often the ones others rely on.
Yet there’s a kind of quiet, ongoing pressure. Not always visible or articulated. But present.
It can sound like:
I shouldn’t feel this overwhelmed
I should be able to handle this
What’s wrong with me
I need to hold it together
This isn’t confusion…it’s misalignment.
I’ve experienced this myself, particularly within high-demand environments such as healthcare, where sustainability and presence are both essential.
And frankly, there comes a point where continuing in the same way just doesn’t work — even if you can’t yet say why.
This is where we begin.
